Teresa Turner Edkins

Teresa Turner Edkins is a faculty member at George Mason University working in both the elementary and secondary education programs. She additionally serves as coordinator for Mason’s Professional Development School (PDS) Network. Her research interests are focused in the areas of organization development and teacher reflection to improve teaching and learning. Dr. Edkins has helped develop school/university partnerships across the US, the Netherlands, Japan, and The Gambia, West Africa. She has numerous publications and presentations in the areas of school reform and restructuring as it relates improving teaching and learning for all of a school community, as well as portfolio development and action research as tools for teacher reflection.
